o Designs medical devices and components.
o Designs, runs, and gathers data for a series of experiments.
o Analyzes and documents test results in laboratory notebook.
o Participates in the design of new test methods and procedures.
o Responsible for processing ECO's.
o Responsible for analyzing customer needs and market requirements.
o Supports laboratory and clinical research.
o Supports production and manufacturing.
o Acts as project leader and coordinates design control process.
o Evaluates patents for specific technology areas and files patents as required.
o Vendor contract and specification development.
o Interface with other departments such as Customer Service and Sales and Marketing.
